I was looking at some of my older posts, trying to see what I was doing then and what I am doing now. If I do not stay motivated to maintain my weight, little changes can sneak up on you. If you don't know what I am getting at, it is VERY easy to gain weight back. I read lots of blogs about healthy eating and what to eat and when to eat and why to eat it. I have to keep it simple. I have spoken my peace. How many articles will we read in the next few weeks about keeping weight down during the holidays? Here are a few. Feel free to share you favs. http://www.goodhousekeeping.com/health/advice/holiday-weight-loss-tips http://weightloss.about.com/od/holidayweight/qt/holidayhints.htm

Have you every followed one of these plans? I say eat what you want on Thanksgiving, but not every party or gathering you call "Holidaying." I will be participating in the 4 mile Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving. Watch out New Englander's!

Hi Jill, thanks for following me on Blogfrog! I took a minute to check out your blog and I really like it..I haven't tried the plans you listed above but I do a cleanse twice per year based on Alejandro Junger, M.D.'s plan. I just use the recipes and have never purchased the drinks, etc. There is an easier/user friendly version of the cleanse on Martha Stewart's website. I think it was called the Total Body Challenge (?)
Best of luck in your Turkey Trot! I'm running one in my town in Maine.
