Calories... Love 'em or Leave 'em!

Ever since I starting Blogging, I have been overloaded with views on losing weight. I only know what works for me and that was to figure out how many calories I burned per day. If I burned 1800, then I tried to eat 1500. I have included a link from Self Magazine to help you figure it all out.

Nothing is 100%. If you don't follow this, at least try at write down what you eat, so you can see what is working for you and what isn't. Some days I hate the word "Calories", on the other hand, Counting Calories is what has helped me lose weight. So like I said, love 'em or leave 'em.

What has been working for you? How do you reach your fitness goals?

Thanks for the link. I really need to start counting calories and start exercising again. This time last year I was doing so good and then all he** broke loose. I'm hoping to start back to zumba this weekend and get my butt back in gear!

I also count calories, though I haven't been lately :/ yikes! I did a food journal for a couple of weeks, writing everything down. Some days it was even hard for me to reach my cals after all my meals and snacks were logged in. Also eating breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner seemed to help me not overeat at lunch and dinner when I would normally be starving from no breakfast. Starting Monday I'm getting back on this plan and losing more weight...(I'm going to the pumpkin patch this weekend where all sorts of unhealthy "goodies" will be calling my name or else I'd start today!)
