Today I found myself dreading snack time. (Remember designated snack time as a kid?) I had a yogurt in the fridge, while it was a Yoplait Red Velvet Cake, it just wasn't what I was looking for. I was scrambling in my drawers and came across a Quaker Valley Granola Bar...Don't worry, I checked the expiration date! I broke half the granola bar into little pieces and put it in the yogurt. VIOLA! I had a 150 calorie snack and a new perspective on snack time.
The lesson here is just being creative. Mixing it up and trying different things. While it would easy to go to the vending machine and having something different everyday that is simple not an option for SnackSpot Girl. The show must go on...
Looking forward to the Fitness Magazine Run in Central Park on September 11...
